Either consume or publish content through Squidoo on topics of interest. A different way for students to feedback their findings, research or projects perhaps? And have an authentic audience into the bargain?

Here you need to have a good look over the points and ‘prizes’ Squidoo includes which are geared towards encouraging users to add content. Can they be used as motivators (extrinsic?) for your students, or will they simply distract them from the task at hand? As always, preparation is key and you’ll need to provide a framework within which students have sufficient freedom to express themselves, yet also are guided to stay ‘on task’ to ensure your learning goals are met.
